Abstract:

To provide a double slipproof fabric widely applicable in various uses such as an underlay mat for preventing the falling of tableware when a person disabled in hands takes a meal, a mat for putting small things which prevents the things from dislocating and falling due to vibration in a car or an airplane, and an underlay mat for preventing furniture and the like from a slipping; and a method for manufacturing the same.

In the double-side slipproof fabric, both the sides of a fabric are constituted with a coating film made of one of an acrylic resin, a polyurethane resin and a rubber resin, and the coating film has a coefficient of friction of ≥0.80. The method for manufacturing the double-side slipproof fabric comprises forming a resinous coating film made of one of an acrylic resin, a polyurethane resin and a rubber resin on one side of a fabric, and subsequently laminating two sheets of the treated fabrics with the resin-coated sides outside.
