To stably support the placing base of the direct installation type clothes dryer of a narrow width by fitting a reinforcing member in a vertical direction near the boundary part of first and second washing devices on the rear side surface of a housing, strengthening the rigidity of the rear side surface of the housing and disposing the attachment structure of the placing base or the like of the clothes dryer near the reinforcing member.
The front surface upper part and rear side surface upper part of the housing 10 are connected by a connection member 17 whose cross section is L-shaped near the boundary surface between a main washing device 20 and a sub washing device 40 and the rigidity of the housing 10 is raised. The attachment holes of a handing rod 26 for supporting the main washing device 20 are formed on both front and rear end parts of the connection member 17. The bar-shaped reinforcing member 18 is fitted on a rear side surface inner side where one end on the rear part side of the connection member 17 is attached in a plane view, for instance along the inner surface of the rear side surface left part 14B of a panel 14. Thus, the rigidity of the rear side surface left part 14b of the panel 14 is raised along with the connection member 17. The attachment structure of the placing base or the like of the clothes dryer is disposed near a part provided with the reinforcing member 18.
