Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a supporting structure which keeps a heat transfer tube free from a load when the tube expands or contracts.
CONSTITUTION: A boss 13 integrated with a supporting part 14 is attached to the lower end of a heat transfer tube 10, and the part 14 is inserted into a steady rest pipe 16, which projects upward from a foundation material 15 arranged under water, in such a manner as to slide freely therein so that the expansion or contraction of the heat transfer tube 10 is absorbed through the sliding action to thereby prevent the damage to the tube 10.
