Abstract:
To provide a multiplex hook dovetail joint for connecting the rotor wheel 12 to the bucket 16 of a turbine rotor which allows a wider vane to be used at the end of the bucket 16 without changing the sizes of the wheel 12 and the other existing component parts of a turbine.
This dovetail joint comprises a male dovetail component part 14 and a female dovetail component part 18. The male dovetail component part 14 comprises first and second hooks 40 and 42. Each of the hooks 40 and 42 comprises crush surfaces 64 and 74, flange parts 66 and 76, crush surfaces 64 and 74, and angles B' and D' formed between the flange parts 66 and 76. The dimensions of the hooks 40 and 42 are determined according to at least one of the presented tables.
