A U-shaped attaching part 1 attached to a wall face and a holding part 2 holding a down pipe are integrated to constitute a metallic down pipe support tool A. The holding part 2 comprises a substantially L-shaped right arm 21 and left arm 22 matched to the outer peripheral face of the down pipe, the arms are formed of vertical materials 21a, 22a and horizontal materials 21b, 22b respectively, semicircular locking projection parts 23, 25 are formed on the inside of the edge parts of the vertical materials 21a, 22a, and screw holes 241, 242 are provided in the horizontal materials 21b, 22b.
