Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap having a first flow channel through which drain flows in from facility equipment and a second flow channel through which drain flows in from the other facility equipment, the drain trap offering a backflow prevention function for the drain from the first flow channel side while suppressing an overall height of the device, and also being provided with a sounding prevention mechanism that reduces noise when a check valve is actuated.SOLUTION: A deodorizing cylinder 9 of a drain trap 1 includes a first flow channel 11 through which drain flows in from a washing machine as facility equipment, and a second flow channel 13 through which drain flows in from a waterproof pan as the other facility equipment. A check valve 15 is disposed at a boundary between the first flow channel 11 and the second flow channel 13 at an edge part of the second flow channel 13, to close the second flow channel 13, the check valve comprising a valve seat 16 and a valve body 17. The valve body 17 has a silencing member 30 fitted on a periphery as a sounding prevention mechanism, for reducing a noise that accompanies opening/closing of the valve body 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
