PURPOSE: To perform drainboard taking automatically and surely by allowing a control device to carry out the operation to transfer drainboards and legs from their respective storages to the position f drainboard taking.

CONSTITUTION: A drainboards storage 2, which stores two or more drainboards 3 in a stack and which has function to feed only one of them separately, is furnished in such a way as possible to elevate and sink, where a drainboard moving device 6 has a pawl 7 to separate one of the drainboards stored in the storage 2. A drainboard elevator 8 moves this drainboard to the position of drainboard taking. The sheets exhaust part of the printer is so designed that this drainboard can be inserted in it. A legs storage 4, which stores two or more drainboard legs 5 and which has function to feed only a set of them separately, is installed in such a way as capable of elevating and sinking, where a leg moving device 9 separates a set of legs 5 stored in this device 4 and a leg elevator 10 moves them to the position of drainboard taking. The stacking place is so designed that the legs can be inserted in it. This sequence of operations is automatically controlled by a control device 14.
