PURPOSE: To perform secure detection with the simplified constitution of a pipeline by detecting the sucking and discharging states of the pipeline with a pressure sensor.

CONSTITUTION: A stopper 37 is opened and a leak valve 39 is closed by a controller 50, then the piston 41A of a syringe pump 41 is operated, by which suction is started. At the same time, a nozzle 33 descends and when it arrives at a sample SP, the drawing of the sample SP is started. The pressure in a pipeline 34 decreases and the decrease thereof is detected with a pressure sensor 36, then a timer 50A starts operating. The drawing is continued during the timer operation and the sample SP is drawn into the space 33B of the nozzle 33. The nozzle 33 moves upward and is inserted from a specimen tube 31 into a sample tube 32. When the dispensing of the sample SP is started by the operation of the piston 41A, the pressure in the pipeline 34 increases and the start of the dispensing is confirmed. When the sample SP is fully discharged, the pressure decreases and the end of the dispensing is confirmed.
