Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a drawer with an improved resisting strength against pulling of a bottom element by a hinge arrangement that when a hooked claw is pushed into the bottom of the drawer it elongates to the bottom at a slant and is fixed to the bottom element as a reverse claw. CONSTITUTION: Slits 6, 7 are open-shaped in their one side and a hinge plate 10 is formed from the material of a support bracket 5 by cutting. Hooked claws 11, 12 of the hinge, on assembly, turn and engage at their hooked parts with the material of drawer bottom 2 from backward within an angle 16. Thus the hooked claws 11, 12 are secure in reverse manner requiring no special grooves. Top ends 13, 14 of the hooks elongate upwardly and are held by a wedge-shaped cavity 15 to be pressed in the drawer bottom so that an angle 19 is enlarged. This elongation of the top ends 13, 14 of the hook claws take place while the hook claws are embedded into the drawer material. As a result, the top ends 13, 14 are bent simply, thus providing an improved resisting strength against pulling out of the material of the drawer bottom.
