Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a reservoir to be dredged in a short period of time without once suspending its function as a reservoir, and also enable dredging works to be carried out without using special clamshells with no final effluent contaminated.
CONSTITUTION: The water flow of a river 10 is dammed up by a dam body 20, a reservoir 30 which is figured out so as to be formed by the use of the dam body 20 and side walls 11 provided at both the banks of the river 10, is divided into three block reservoirs 30 by two bulkheads 40 erected while being arranged in the river width direction of the river 10. One set out of three sets of gates 51 and 52 provided correspondingly to the respective reservoirs 31, is closed, so that a water channel to one block reservoir 31 out of three is covered. Water stored in the block reservoir 31 is discharged outside the reservoir 30 through an irrigation tunnel 71, so that silted deposits is dredged and taken out by both lorries and clamshells brought in the block reservoir 31 from which water has been discharged, from the outside of the reservoir 30 through a take-out tunnel 60.
