To provide a dressing device for use in a rice polisher, free from the risk of allowing the abrasive grain of a grinding polishing roller to scatter, capable of preventing uneven dressing from occurring in the generatrix direction of the grinding polishing roller.
The dressing device for use in a rice polisher includes a vertical support frame 37 that can be installed in a space cleared by detaching a bran-removing wire-net cylinder 9 therefrom, a slide 39 inserted in a track groove 38 attached to the vertical support frame 37 to slide in the track groove 38 in the vertical direction, a pressing member 40 that is horizontally attached to the slide 39 and can be pressed to a position for it to contact the surface of the grinding polishing roller 7 and to a position for it to leave from the surface of the roller 7, a dressing roller 58 attached to the tip of the pressing member 40, and a member 41 for preventing the abrasive grain from scattering, attached to the vertical support frame 37.
