Abstract:
PURPOSE: To carry out dressing by anyone in a short time with a small force by grinding a saw blade while applying thereto, a thin round file which is being rotated.
CONSTITUTION: A thin round file 3 is attached to a rotary instrument such as an electric drill and rotated so as to grind the blade 2 of a saw blade 1. By this constitution, a grinding force is generated at the round file 2 by rotation in the tangent direction and grinding can be carried out not by pressing it onto the blade 2 but a light push-and-pull motion and a lateral movement.
