To provide a drier device having a mechanism for preventing a decrease in collection rate caused by items to be dried containing water and having viscosity being remained in and attached to the inside of the drier device.
A drier device comprises rotating drive means 11 for rotating a rotary drum 2 around its axis; heating air supplying means 16 for supplying a heating air for drying within the rotary drum 2; supplying means 3 for feeding items to be dried into one end part of the rotary drum 2; and discharging means 18 for discharging items subjected to drying processing out of the rotary drum 2. The rotary drum 2 is provided, at a segment except the vicinity of one end thereof, with a plurality of scraping blades 24 for scraping up the items to be dried and dropping them, and an auxiliary drum 20 having a plurality of auxiliary scraping blades 23 having an outer diameter forming a minute clearance with the inner wall of the rotary drum 2 and having a function similar to that of the scraping blades 24 is internally installed at the segment location.
