Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drill capable of suppressing occurrence of chips having conical surface.SOLUTION: A drill 100 comprises: a tip end part 4 which is rotatable around an axial line O, and is parallel to the axial line O; and a rear end part 5 on a side opposite to the tip end part 4, and the drill 100 comprises a tip end surface 10, a side surface 2 and a bottom surface 3. The tip end surface 10 contains the tip end part 4, and extends in a direction separated from the axial line O. The side surface 2 is continuous to the tip end part 4, and extends in a direction approaching to the rear end part 5 from the tip end part 4. The bottom surface 3 is positioned on a side opposite to the tip end surface 10 and is continuous to the side surface 2 in viewing from the tip end part 4. The side surface 2 and the bottom surface 3 form a step 1 which becomes hollow to the rear end part 5. When viewed from a direction crossing the tip end part 4 and perpendicular to a cross section containing the axial line O, the tip end surface 10 contains a first surface 10a which is inclined to a plane S which is perpendicular to the axial line O.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
