PURPOSE: To improve a common and versatile use and operability of a control equipment by installing a change over switch, a potentiometer and a proportional control device or the like to an operation lever and making controllable traveling and boring operations with a single operation lever.
CONSTITUTION: Operations, such as traveling, turning, drill rotation, and impact or the like, of a crawler drill equipped with reciprocally driven crawlers 3 and 4 and a boring mechanism 6 are controlled with input from a single operation lever 10. The displacement of the lever 10, in the front and rear direction (a to b), the right and left direction (e to f) and left and right rotations around the axial core are detected with each of detection devices (potentiometers) 11, 12 and 13. Output signals X1 and X2 are transmitted to a travel directive device 15 while output signals X1, X2 and X3 are transmitted to a boring directive device, thereby controlling each of hydraulic circuits 16 and 20. Traveling and boring operations are changed over with a change over switch 10a while a first control signal A1 and a second control signal A2 are controlled with a control device 21 so that delicate control performance may be available. This construction makes it possible to provide enhanced versatility to control equipment and hence simplify the operation chamber.
