PURPOSE: To provide a drilling machine for boring hard material, which is driven by an air motor and has no-seal structure.
CONSTITUTION: The drilling machine concerned is equipped with a drill 2, at the tip of which a water hole bored along the axis center line of a bar-like main body is opened and at the tip part of which diamond bits are provided, a rotor 31, which is connected with the drill 2 and rotatingly driven, a rotatingly driving part 3A, which rotatingly drives the rotor 31, and an air fed passage 61. A water pouring pipe line 4B is connected through a valve adapter 4A having a valve mechanism to the rear end of a bore 31c, which communicates the rear end of a rotating shaft with the tip of the drill by boring the rotor 31 to the direction of its rotating shaft, so as to pour water into the bore 31c of the rotor 31 while the valve adapter 4A and the rotor 31 and held in non- contact state. In addition, by blowing air from air feeding part in non-contact portion, a gap in non-contact state is sealed.
