To provide a drilling method and a drilling device enabling slurry to be circulated for recycling by sufficiently supporting the wall surface of a hole under drilling.
The bit 10 of a hydraulic rock drill 6 is inserted into a hole 98. The slurry in a slurry tank 20 is force-fed to the bit 10 by a squeeze pump 21 to discharge it from the bit 10. While the wall surface of the hole 98 is held by the slurry supplied into the hole 98 by a water collecting pipe 11, the slurry in the hole 98 is discharged to a separator 31 together with a flushing medium through a valve 19. The flushing medium is removed from the slurry in the separator 31, and the slurry is fed from the separator 31 into the slurry tank 20. With the slurry circulated as stated above, the hole 98 is drilled by the bit 10. During the drilling, the pressure of the slurry in the hole 98 is measured by a pressure sensor 16. When the pressure measured by the pressure sensor 16 is equal to or less than a predetermined value, the squeeze pump 21 is controlled by a controller 41, and the drive speed of the squeeze pump 21 is raised.
