Abstract:
PURPOSE: To always stably hold the concn. of chlorine in drinking water to a proper range even if there are fluctuations in the quality of tap water.
CONSTITUTION: The drinking water sterilizing apparatus is provided with a chlorine generating electrode 6 also used as an electric conductivity measuring electrode, a control means 9 of the quantity of electricity to the chlorine generating electrode and a water temp. sensor 13 measuring the temp. of drinking water and the electric conductivity detection value of drinking water is corrected to the electric conductivity of reference temp. (e.g. 25°C) on the basis of the temp. of drinking water measured by the water temp. sensor 13 and the quantity of electricity to the chlorine generating electrode is controlled on the basis of this correction value.
