Title:
DRIP ABSORBER SPUTTERED WITH ANTIBACTERIAL METAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001078661
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a drip absorber for absorbing blood, gravy, etc., of meat and sliced raw fish with a substrate to improve the appearance of a commodity and capable of restraining the propagation of various germs by forming the drip absorber of both a metal layer where an antibacterial metal is made to intimately adhere to the substrate as an absorber through a sputtering method and a substrate layer.

This absorber is formed of both a metal layer where an antibacterial metal 1 is made to intimately adhere to a substrate 2 as an absorber made of a non-woven fabric, a woven fabric, etc., through a sputtering method and a substrate layer. The metal 1 as a target for being sputtered is e.g. silver, copper, zinc or an alloy of at least one of them with other metal. The drip absorber has a metal layer as the surface and a layer made of a non-woven fabric or a woven fabric as the underside and is laid on a dish or a tray on which sliced raw fish and/or a lump of meat are/is mounted when being used.
