Abstract:
PURPOSE: To such back water at a minimum distance of suction is order to prevent water from being dropped, by installing directly on the upstream of the subject equipment at least one plenum for each equipment connected to the water supply system. Turning OFF the switch for equipment 6 to return the shut-off valve 5a back to its closed position, the pressure through an appropriate hole 16h is released to result in making a disphragm 25 possible to go back to its original rest position, thus going away from the chamber surface and becoming flexible naturally, and/or in enabling it to be pushed back by a spring. Supporting that the first diaphragm 25 creates a liquid-tight state between the housing 24 surface 24a and itself and that one hole 3d gives only an outlet form its corresponded chamber 1b, the first diaphragm 25 is returned back to its rest position a substantial negative pressure is generated in the passages 3b, 3d, 3e, 3f filled with water connected, thus drawing back the water quantity equivalent to the moving distance of the chamber 1b.
