Abstract:
PURPOSE: To compensate for a disturbance amount of tension to be repeated periodically upon rotation of a reel by dividing an angle-of-rotation of the reel into a number of rotation angle ranges and adjusting each of them individually.
CONSTITUTION: A total rotation of a reel 11 is divided into a number of rotation angle ranges α, and a deviation from a set value, detected at each of the rotation angle ranges a and integrated, is used as a compensation signal Fk for an adjustment apparatus 13. The adjustment apparatus 13 for a tension and a strip speed receives Fi proportional to an actual value of the strip tension as well as a target value Fs of the strip speed, and processes this signal. Further additionally, the target value Fs and the real value Fi of the strip speed are also supplied to a compensation circuit 14 so that a compensation value Fk for the adjustment apparatus is calculated. Then, one integrator is assigned to each of the rotation angle ranges α. A signal proportional to the deviation at each timing in association with the rotation angle α can be introduced at an input end of the integrator. In addition, an output value of the integrator is offset in terms of time, and output as the compensation signal Fk.
