PURPOSE: To obtain the driving circuit of an electromagnet coil having excellent responsiveness by a method wherein a first excitation circuit, with which a first control signal will be supplied to a control terminal, and a second circuit, with which a second control signal will be supplied to the control terminal for application of a large current to an electromagnet coil when the material to be attracted will be attracted, are contained in the driving circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When a high level coil-driving signal is inputted to the input terminal 20 of the coil driving signal, a control signal is inputted to the control terminal of a switching element 10 through the intermediary of a first pre-amplifier 12, and at the same time, a signal is inputted to one input terminal of an AND circuit 16. Also, a high level signal is outputted from the AND circuit 16, a control signal is inputted to the control terminal of the switching element 10 through the intermediary of a second pre-amplifier 14. To be more precise, the control signal whose magnitude is the addition of those of control signals sent from the first pre-amplifier 12 and the second pre-amplifier 14, is supplied to the control terminal of the switching element 10. As a result, a large attraction current is made to flow on an electromagnet coil L at the point of time where the coil driving signal is inputted, and the attraction of the material to be attracted is conducted. Consequently, the responsiveness of the title electromagnet can be improved.
