To provide a drive controller maintaining a desired control operation irrespective of differences of frequencies or their fluctuation of power supply voltages.

A driving part 2 ON/OFF controlling conduction of electricity to light-emitting elements LMP with receipt of an alternating-current input voltage Vac, a pulse generating part 3 ON-operating to generate pulse voltage when the alternating-current input voltage Vac goes over a given level, a computer circuit MIC receiving direction signals SG regulating luminance of the light-emitting elements LMP, and at the same time, receiving a pulse voltage Vo from the pulse generating part 3, and a power supply part 1 rectifying the alternating-current input voltage Vac to generate power supply voltage Vcc of the computer circuit are provided. The computer circuit MIC comprises a first means ST12 for steadily grasping frequencies of alternating-current input voltages based on the pulse voltage Vo, a second means ST16 for deciding drive timing of the driving part based on the frequencies grasped and the indication signals, and third means ST18, ST20 outputting driving pulses to the driving part 2 each time the driving timing is reached.
