Abstract:
To provide a drive control device capable of more flexibly and surely controlling a conveyance velocity, an image forming apparatus and a drive control method.SOLUTION: A drive control device comprises: a RAM 1411 storing a velocity table 1411a and an acceleration table 1411b as operation velocity information of a drive unit 143 which generates drive power to be applied to a predetermined subject; and a control circuit 1413 which controls an operation velocity of the drive unit based on the operation velocity information and acquires a detection result of a load detection unit which detects a load of the drive unit. In the case that a detection result indicating abnormality of the load is acquired, the control circuit performs control to change the operation velocity by changing the operation velocity information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
