Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reliably prevent a stuck object from infiltrating into a vehicle by detecting the presence of the stuck object to a vehicle top opening cover openably supported on a vehicle top opening section and selectively performing the generation of an alarm and the opening of the vehicle top opening cover respectively in response to its presence. CONSTITUTION:A crew detecting unit 2, a 0.1sec timer 3, an input buffer 4, a relay driver Drv1, and a buzzer driver Drv2 are connected respectively to ports of a CPU 1 constituting part of a stuck object detecting means. When an ignition switch IGSW is turned on, the voltage of a battery BT and the constant voltage of a power source unit 5 are fed to various sections. Relays RL1, RL2 are energized or de-energized by the relay driver Drv1 in this case. A buzzer Bz is energized by the buzzer driver Drv2. When the relay RL1 is energized and a relay contact rl1 is made on the power source line side, for example, a motor M is positively rotated to open a vehicle top opening cover.
