Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert appropriate fail-safe control in a case where a rotary electric machine, serving as a source of drive force for a wheel, and a targe part in its driving system are overheated.SOLUTION: A drive control device for a vehicle controls a vehicle driving device in which a rotary electric machine, a transmission, an output member, and a wheel are driven and coupled in order. In a case where an operable area E defined by a DC link voltage Vdc and a rotor rotating speed ω includes a zero point P0, which is an operation point P at which both drive current Iq and a field current Id are zero, the drive control device for the vehicle performs a zero current control ZERO-CTRL in which the drive current Iq and the field current Id are made zero. In a case where the zero point P0 is not included in the operable area E, the drive control device performs a low transmission ratio control LGR-CTRL in which a transmission ratio of a transmission is decreased such that a transmission input rotating speed, which is a rotating speed on the rotary electric machine 80 side, is decreased with respect to a transmission output rotating speed, which is a rotating speed on the output member side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
