Abstract:
PURPOSE: To operate and stop a continuous printer paper cutter at correct positions irrespective of the using condition of the cutter.
CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with a cutter 30 which is equipped with a position detecting sensor 50 and rotary blade and cuts continuous printer paper and a DC motor 6 which drives the cutter 30 and is controlled by means of a drive control circuit 7. The controller also incorporates a time measuring means 81 which measures the time from the start to the end of the paper cutting operation of the cutter 30 detected by the sensor 50 and driving timing deciding means 82 which compares the time measured by the means 81 with a standard time and calculates the braking timing of the motor 6 depending upon the compared results. The motor 6 is braked and stopped through the circuit 7 at the timing calculated by the means 82.
