Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a small-sized low-cost controller for driving a general purpose stepping motor.
CONSTITUTION: A microcomputer 1 detects a fall of an external pulse signal input to an input port, rises one phase of four-phase drive control signals 1, 2, 3, 4 to be decided based on a predetermined sequence in response to the detection of the fall, and chops to alter a state at a predetermined period while the one-phase signal decided at a previous time based on the predetermined sequence is detected at next fall from a time point after a predetermined time is elapsed from when the fall is detected.
