Title:
DRIVE MECHANISM OF RADIO-CONTROLLED TOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3759199
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To allow a radio-controlled toy to freely travel by providing a means for transmitting motor drive to an engine only when a motor rotates in a first direction and a means for transmitting motor driving forces to a first drive system only when the motor is rotated in a second direction.
CONSTITUTION: A motor 4 is rotated by a pulse signal transmitted from a transmitter. From the first 20 to third 23 gears of a second drive system 6 are thereby rotated to start an engine 3. When a back signal is input from the transmitter, a servo hone 40 is rotated counterclockwise, the slot of the engine 3 is closed for idle, and a brake cam 64 is operated to brake the rear wheels 1, 2. At the same time, a back lever hone 51 is operated by the servo hone 40 via a third operating shaft 50. Each part of a third drive system 7 is thereby operated and becomes ready for back drive by the motor 4. The driving force of the motor 4 is transmitted to a first drive system 5 in response to the next back start signal.
