Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a refrigerant from leaking from a gap between a shaft and a rotor core in a drive motor of an electric vehicle having a cooling function.SOLUTION: A drive motor of an electric vehicle includes: a rotor core having a refrigerant passage therein and a shaft hole; a shaft having a refrigerant supply hole for supplying a refrigerant from a shaft interior part to the refrigerant passage of the rotor core; a nut which fixes the rotor core to the shaft; and a washer which is positioned between the nut and the rotor core while fitting in an outer periphery of the shaft and contacts with an end surface of the rotor core. A diameter of an inner peripheral surface of the washer gradually reduces from one side to the other side in an axial direction. The inner peripheral surface of the washer closely contacts with an outer peripheral surface of the shaft over an entire periphery of the shaft.
