PURPOSE: To provide a structure for fixing a drive motor housed in the housing of a linear operating machine.
CONSTITUTION: A housing 21 of a linear operating machine 20 is divided into an upper case 35 for housing a drive motor 22 and a lower case 36 for housing a screw shaft 23, an elastic protruding member 38 for pressing the drive motor toward the lower case protrudes in the upper case, and a plurality of recessed parts 42 for engaging a plurality of leg pieces 41 protruding from the drive motor are formed at the lower case. The drive motor is mounted on the lower case and the leg piece is inserted into the recessed parts. The upper case is overlapped to the lower case and they are fixed. An elastic protruding member presses the drive motor to the lower case. The edge part of the leg piece is pressed into the recessed parts by the press force of the elastic protruding member and the drive motor is fixed into the housing.
