PURPOSE: To initialize an optimal position for a driver at the time of driving by storing a holding data for holding the optimal drive position obtained through manual adjustment of the driver, in a card-shaped storage medium, and by reading the stored holding data, so as to utilize it for adjustment.

CONSTITUTION: The optimal position of a seat 6, the optimal mirror angle of a back mirror 9, and the optimal position of a handle 12 are set by manual operation. After an IC card 1 is inserted into an input/output controller 3, whether a storage switch 21 of an operational part 2 is pressed by a driver or not, is judged by the CPU of the input/output controller 3, and the information concerning the current set position of the seat 6, the back mirror 9, and of the handle 12 is input, and is written into the storage region of the IC card 1, and is thus stored. The IC card 1 in which a holding data is stored, is inserted into the input/output controller 3, and when a setting switch 22 is pressed, the holding data that is read is given to each control part 4, 7 and 10, and the seat 6, the back mirror 9, and the handle 12 are driven by the CPU, and position adjustment is thus carried out.
