Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a derive recorder in which an acceleration sensor can be always set in a horizontal state regardless of an orientation of a lens for photographing.SOLUTION: A drive recorder 1 is set by mounting a body case 2 to a windshield by a mounting bracket 3, and stores image data acquired via a lens for photographing in preceding and succeeding time zones that include the time zone when predetermined acceleration is detected while being triggered by detection of acceleration equal to or higher than a constant value by an acceleration sensor. The acceleration sensor is mounted to a holder 7 that is rotatably supported with respect to the body case 2, the holder 7 is rotated in the same direction as an elevation or depression direction of the body case 2, and the holder 7 is stopped and held at an optional rotation position causing no trouble in detection by the acceleration sensor.
