Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit which can perform linear drive with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A drive unit has: a first magnet 1 which can be rotated by rotating means, is supported so that it does not move in a rotary shaft direction, and has a first opposing surface 1a orthogonal to the axis of rotation; and a second magnet 2 which is reciprocally movable in the direction of rotary shaft, is supported so that it does not rotate, and has a second opposing surface 2a opposite the first opposing surface 1a on the same axis. On the first opposing surface 1a of the first magnet 1 and the second opposing surface 2a of the second magnet 2, at least one or more N poles and S poles divided by a boundary combining two points dividing an outer periphery are formed respectively, N poles and S poles formed on the first opposing surface 1a and the second opposing surface 2a are magnetized in the same shape forms, the first magnet 1 is rotated by the rotating means, and the second magnet is reciprocally moved in the direction of the rotary shaft by an attractive force and a repulsive force of the magnetic force.
