To attain a proper supplying of waste heat of an engine in response to a heating operation and a hot water utilization, enable a heating requirement to be rapidly satisfied just after starting the heating operation, and further prevent frosting from being generated under utilization of the waste heat of the engine in the case where an outdoor heat exchanger shows a frosted state.
In a device 1 in which a part of waste heat of an engine is recovered into a refrigerant circuit during a heating operation and another part of it is used for hot water, a floor heating device is installed in a room R where an indoor heat exchanger acting as a hot water utilizing section is installed, wherein, during heating operation performed by a compressor 6, refrigerant is flowed in a refrigerant circuit 200 in which the compressor 6, the indoor heat exchanger, an electronic expansion valve and an outdoor heat exchanger 11 are connected to each other. Cooling water heat exchanged with at least one of a cooling water jacket 28b and a discharged gas heat exchanger 23b is branched into a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 8 in which heat is exchanged between the cooling water and the refrigerant in the circuit 200, and into a hot water utilizing section. The cooling water is supplied there and, when a high amount of requirement is applied, a supplying amount of cooling water is increased for the floor heating device rather that for the heat exchanger 8 between water and refrigerant on the basis of the requirement of heating operation from the detecting means.
