Abstract:
To provide a driver state determination device capable of accurately determining an abnormal state of a driver without being affected by features or a temporary symptom of the face of a driver and a steering skill of a driver.SOLUTION: A driver state determination device 1 determines an abnormal state of a driver driving a vehicle and includes: an external camera 3 for imaging a front of a vehicle; a vehicle speed sensor 5 for detecting a vehicle speed of a vehicle; a data analysis section 19 for calculating an offset distance in a lateral direction of a vehicle with respect to a reference position on a traveling road on the basis of an image imaged by the external camera 3; and a driver state determination section 23 for determining an abnormal state of a driver on the basis of a vehicle speed and an offset distance. The driver state determination section 23 performs driver state determination processing for determining an abnormal state of a driver on the basis of a determination value obtained by multiplying an integrated value of a fluctuation amount of a vehicle speed by an integrated value of a fluctuation amount of an offset distance within a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
