Abstract:
To make it possible to notify a host device if a motor cannot be controlled at a specified operation start time.SOLUTION: A driver of the present invention includes: a receiving unit that receives, from a host device, a command signal that includes designation of an operation start time and a control command related to control of a motor; a control unit that controls the motor according to the control command when the operation start time arrives, if a time from a reception time when the command signal is received to the operation start time is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold; and a notification unit that notifies the host device of an error if the time from the reception time to the operation start time is less than the predetermined threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
