Abstract:

To constitute the power source circuit of a scan driving side for applying a high voltage to a light emitting element consisting of a capacitive load under polarity inversion at a low cost.

A data side power source voltage VEE is subjected to voltage doubling by capacitors 107, 108 and such voltage is set as the output voltage of a scan side fluctuation power source voltage terminal FVEE with a fluctuation reference terminal FGND as a reference. An intermediate reference potential common to a position 111 to equally divide the potential difference of both terminals is formed to each of the potential of the scan side fluctuation reference voltage terminal FGND and the potential of the scan side fluctuation power source voltage terminal FVEE. The scan side fluctuation reference terminal FGND is switched between a first potential (fixed reference potential GND) for positive polarity driving and a second potential VEE for negative driving lower than the first potential by the data side power source potential VEE depending on whether the intermediate reference potential is set to the fixed reference potential GND or to the data side power source potential VEE.
