Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a driving circuit and method for driving a capacitive load of which one terminal is grounded at prescribed frequency and an adjustable level.

CONSTITUTION: The driving circuit is provided with two switches S1, S2 connected in series between power supply voltage Vcc and reference voltage G. Anode S between the two switches S1, S2 is connected to the 2nd terminal A of a capacitive load. The two switches are not simultaneously closed. A control circuit 10 periodically controls the close of the switch connected to the power supply voltage. Adjusting circuits R2, R3, 12 are applied to the control circuit 10, and when the voltage of the capacitive load reaches a prescribed value, one of the switches S1, S2 is opened.
