PURPOSE: To provide a comfortableness with suppressed temperature rising at an air cooling time and with cool air touch removed at an air heating time by a method wherein a control is carried out so that an indoor preset temperature is changed after the starting of a compressor to make the change in the indoor temperature be smooth when men sleep.
CONSTITUTION: The control system includes a timer counting means 11 to count time elapse, an arithmetic means 14 to calculate a temperature difference between a preset room temperature and a current room temperature, a compressor driving means 15 to control the operation of the compressor and survey the operational condition thereof, a switch detecting means 9 to inform the starting of the sleeping time operation control, and a deciding means 10. In this control system, the deciding means 10 receives signals from the means 11, 14, 15 and 9 and provides a signal to the means 15. In more detail, when the current room temperature reaches a predetermined value after a preset time elapse, or when the current room temperature enters within a certain temperature range after a certain time elapse, the compressor is driven. Taking such compressor drivings as a monmentum, the preset room temperature is automatically changed. Thus a smooth change of the room temperature at the sleeping time can be obtained.
