PURPOSE: To simplify constitution and to achieve miniaturization by switching the position of a built-in stroboscope with the aid of a mirror driving mechanism and a driving motor for a charger mechanism.

CONSTITUTION: This controller is provided with a motor 99, the mirror driving mechanism 100 switching the position of a movable mirror between a pre- photographing observation position and a retreat position for exposure, the charge mechanism 200 charging a shutter, a stroboscope driving mechanism 300 switching the position of the built-in stroboscope between a flashing position and a housing position, and a connecting mechanism 10 connecting the output shaft of the motor 99 to the mirror driving mechanism 100, the charge mechanism 200 and the stroboscope driving mechanism 300. Through the normal rotation of the motor 99, the connecting mechanism 10 brings the mirror driving mechanism 100 and the charge mechanism 200 into a driving-enable condition. On the other hand, the reverse rotation of the motor 99 drives the stroboscope driving mechanism 100 to switch the built-in stroboscope 301 to the flashing position. Thus, the constitution is simplified and miniaturized, and costs can be reduced.
