To provide a driving device of a hybrid automobile capable of improving power transmission efficiency and fuel economy.
This driving device has a Ravigneaux type planetary gear unit 20, a C2 clutch for engaging-disengaging a part between an output shaft of an engine 1 and a rear sun gear, a C3 clutch for engaging-disengaging a part between the output shaft of the engine 1 and a carrier, a B1 brake for connecting-disconnecting a front sun gear to a fixing part, a generator MG1 connected to the front sun gear, and a driving shaft connected to a ring gear and a motor MG2 and driving a wheel. Travel superior in the power transmission efficiency can be realized by switching operation of the clutch and the brake and operation of the MG1 and the MG2.
