To provide a driving device of an instrument enabling a user to confirm beforehand whether the vehicle state in a traveling time can be stored or not.
This driving device 1 of the instrument includes an instrument (combination meter) 6 having state display parts (first and second analog display parts and a digital display part) 5b, 5c, 5d for displaying the vehicle state, and control means (a first control means and a second control means) 3a, 5a for operating the state display parts 5b, 5c, 5d on the basis of vehicle state data showing measured values on the vehicle state. The device 1 also includes a storage means (memory card) 3b capable of storing the vehicle state data, and an informing means (second light emitting part) 5e. The control means 3a, 5a allow the storage means 3b to store the vehicle state data, and allow the informing means 5e to perform informing operation corresponding to a residual capacity of the storage means 3b.
