To provide a driving device realizing miniaturization while completely lightening frictional load imposed on operation, and a lens driving device using the driving device.
The lens driving device 9 is principally composed of a lens frame 3, a sleeve part 3a provided on the lens frame 3, a guiding bar 7a, a yoke 4 provided on the outer periphery sides of both of the lens frame 3 and the guiding bar 7a, a permanent magnet 6 attached to the yoke 4, and a coil 5 arranged on the inner periphery of the permanent magnet 6. The lens frame 3 is driven by using electromagnetic force generated between the permanent magnet 6 and the lens frame 3 by energizing the coil 5. A yoke notched part 4a for making the generation center of the electromagnetic force and the centers of gravity of the yoke 4 and the permanent magnet 6 approach to the guiding bar 7a is provided on the yoke 4.
