Abstract:
To provide a driving device, a light source, an image projection device, and a head-up display, capable of preventing a post card.SOLUTION: A driving device 1 making a semiconductor laser vibrate in a multi mode drive, contains a current control circuit 5 controlling a current flowing in the semiconductor laser. The current control circuit 5 performs a first control that the current is set to a threshold value or larger for vibrate the semiconductor laser, and a second control that the current is set to a predetermined value after the first control. The time when the current becomes the threshold value or larger in the first control is shorter than a pulse width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
