A driving device incorporated in a camera module 100 displaces the body to be driven in accordance with driving of a piezoelectric element 50. The body to be driven includes an outer peripheral barrel 31 including a shaft holding board 32 supporting one end side of a driving shaft 51 extending with a moving direction of the body to be driven as a longitudinal direction and a shaft holding board 33 supporting another end side of the driving shaft 51. The shaft holding boards 32 and 33 are provided with openings into which the driving shaft 51 is inserted. Opening edges of the openings the shaft holding boards 32 and 33 have are chamfered when viewed from an insertion direction of the driving shaft 51. Thus, installation of the driving shaft 51 on the outer peripheral barrel 31 is facilitated.
