PURPOSE: To provide the driving device and driving method of a steel pipe used for earth retaining or as a stud pipe of an anchor, which is easy to carry into a site in particular, can be assembled, disassembled, and self-erected, can drive the steel pipe in parallel with the boring of a drive hole, can cope with a deeper drive depth, and can drive the continuous column line type with a simple shift action.
CONSTITUTION: This device is constituted of major members including a boring unit 10, a leader 20, a boom 30 having a rotary actuator 31 and a slide base 32, a support leg pole 40, and an action cylinder 50 erecting the leader 28 and the support leg pole 40 so that it can be assembled, disassembled, and self-set. An earth retaining steel pipe to be driven is outwardly held on a drill rod and connected to the boring unit 10, the boring of the driving hole of the steel pipe and the driving can be performed in parallel, and a column line type continuous earth retaining wall can be constructed when the support leg post is moved.
