Abstract:
To promptly start drive of a stepping motor.SOLUTION: A filter part 136 smooths a PWM signal 141 generated by a PWM signal generation part 135 to generate DC voltage. A limiter part 137 outputs VREF voltage 139 obtained by limiting the DC voltage to a limit value or lower. A motor driver 125 controls drive current for driving a stepping motor 116 on the basis of the VREF voltage 139. The PWM signal generation part 135 generates the PWM signal of first on-duty (100%) when drive of the stepping motor 116 is started, and after that, switches the on-duty of the PWM signal to second on-duty (70%) which is lower than the first on-duty.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
