This driving force distribution device for the hybrid vehicle having an engine for driving a pair of first drive wheels and an electric motor for driving a pair of second drive wheels includes a first clutch provided between the electric motor and either of a pair of the second drive wheels, a second clutch provided between the electric motor and the other of a pair of the second drive wheels, and a storage battery for supplying electric energy to the electric motor and storing electric energy regenerated in the electric motor. Furthermore, the driving force distribution device includes a first means for determining the distribution of a driving force for driving a pair of the first drive wheels and a driving force for driving a pair of the second drive wheels, a second means for determining the distribution of a driving force for driving either and the other of a pair of the second drive wheels based on detected vehicle speed, a steering angle of a steering wheel, and a yaw rate, and a clutch control unit for controlling a degree of the engagement of the first and second clutches based on a distribution ratio determined by the second means.
