To provide a driving force distribution control system with a good steering feeling that not only securely detects disconnection but also prevents torque shock or sound from being generated when checking the disconnection.
A microcomputer 30 makes test current flow for use to detect the disconnection failure of an inductive load circuit. It is counted that the disconnection failure has occurred in the inductive load circuit if a difference between the value of the test current and that of the current flowing in the inductive load circuit is greater than the current difference threshold value. Further, the disconnection failure is determined to stop the system operation if the count number counted as if the disconnection failure has occurred in the inductive load circuit exceeds a predetermined frequency when the test current flowing frequency reaches the predetermined one.
